1.5 hours of pre-course coaching before your Basic Rider Course ($95). This can be a stand-alone training opportunity. If you have no experience, Headstart is a valuable opportunity to familiarize yourself with motorcycle riding at a slower, less stressful pace than the larger class setting. We familiarize you with the motorcycle, friction zone, shifting and get you started on exercises! Our Headstart students claim this icebreaker did much to boost their confidence and get them off to a good solid start. Headstart may be taken independent of the Basic RiderCourse and more than once. Not sure if Motorcycling is for you? Try Headstart and find out! Many students sign up for Headstart just prior to their Basic RiderCourse. This gives them some advance preparation for the Basic RiderCourse a day or two, or even a week or more, before the full course. We also offer Headstart as an individual (private) course. We recommend this option for students who need one-on-one training with a professional or who have specific needs that might not be addressed in the standard Headstart course. The Individual Novice course will be tailored to your needs after an initial interview and riding assessment. If you're interested in the Individual Novice course give us a call to discuss your options at 703.491.9102. We can schedule the class to fit your availability. This hiatus will allow us to prepare for the 2024 season. The 2024 schedule begins on/after February 1, 2024, and will be posted during November 2023. This affects all MRC courses except On-Road Training. We will continue to schedule these classes on an individual basis.
