Ease into motorcycling—before your Basic Rider Course.

If you’re brand-new to motorcycling, MRC’s Headstart Training offers a calm, low-stress introduction to the basics—perfect for riders who want to feel more prepared going into their Basic Rider Course (BRC).

For just $99, this 1.5-hour session gets you familiar with the motorcycle itself:

• Familiarizing yourself with basic controls
• Finding the friction zone
• Practicing smooth starts and stops
• Building early confidence and comfort
• Starting basic riding

Many students take Headstart just before their BRC to get a jump start—but it also works as a stand-alone experience, especially if you’re still deciding whether riding is right for you.

Try it Once—Or More

You can take Headstart more than once. It’s a great way to practice in a small group environment before stepping into a larger class.

Prefer One-on-One Attention?

We also offer Individual Novice sessions. These are private, personalized versions of the Headstart course designed for students who may need focused coaching or have unique concerns. After a brief assessment, we tailor the instruction specifically to your needs.
